DOCTOR OF HOLISTIC MASSOTHERAPY

EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

UNIT REQUIREMENTS:

For the completion of a Doctorate Degree in Holistic Massotherapy a minimum of 3000 hours is required.

GENERAL EDUCATIONAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

General Education Credits or the equivalent experiential learning is required for entry into the Doctorate Degree Program. Fulfillment of these requirements demonstrates that the applicant has achieved specialized and general knowledge and has demonstrated motivation and potential for life-long learning.

To meet the General Education Requirements an applicant must be a graduate of massage school, licensed or preparing for license and posses ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:

BS DEGREE

OR two years of Premed or Nursing courses,

OR Associate of Arts Degree, plus 2 years specialized professional experience,

OR 4 years of work or life experience (time in massage school can be applied here),

OR Any combination of the above.

If a student wishes to acquire a Bachelor of Science degree in Holistic Massotherapy, they must contact the First National University for details. Credits can be transferred from other institutions or completed by home study or independent study courses.
